For a factory second, the only thing I can find is a tiny spot on the edge you'd never notice. The surface took my seasoning evenly and the cooking area is plenty for a whole batch of pancakes without crowding. The slight wobble on my flat counter is barely a rock, so the savings were totally worth
The seasoning I did on it took beautifully, and the cooking surface is so smooth that eggs slide right off. The slight machining marks I found on the bottom don't bother me at all for the 30% savings.
The machining marks on the surface actually give it great texture for searing, and it spans two burners perfectly. Cooked up a full batch of pancakes this morning with zero sticking, and that wobble is barely noticeable once it's heated.
