I’ve been cooking with mine daily for two weeks and the pre-seasoned surface is already slicker than my old nonstick pan. It’s noticeably lighter than other cast irons I’ve lifted, which makes flipping eggs one-handed actually easy.
The polished surface really does the heavy lifting—eggs slide right off with just a swipe of butter, and cleanup is a breeze. It feels noticeably lighter in hand than my old cast iron, which makes flipping and maneuvering a lot less of a workout.
I was skeptical about the Kickstarter hype, but the thinner sidewalls really do make a difference—this skillet feels substantially lighter than my old one, and it's noticeably easier to flip pancakes. The pre-seasoned surface has held up well after a week of daily eggs and seared chicken, no stickin
