The cast iron lids fit so snugly on both skillets that steam barely escapes, and cleanup is just a quick rinse and wipe. I’ve used the No.12 for searing steaks and the No.10 for cornbread, and the even heat distribution is noticeably better than my old nonstick pans. My only regret is not switching
