Fits my No.10 skillet like it was made for it, and the seasoned finish means I didn't have to do any prep before the first use. Braised a chuck roast in the oven at 350° and the lid held the heat so well the meat came out fork-tender.
The seasoning is already nice and dark, so it slid right onto my No.10 skillet without any wobble. I’ve used it for oven braises twice now and the heat distribution is even enough that nothing scorches on one side.
I’ve been braising short ribs on the stovetop and then finishing them in the oven with this lid on, and the heat retention is excellent—everything comes out tender without the liquid reducing too fast. It fits my No.10 skillet perfectly and the seasoned finish is already building a nice nonstick lay
