The preseasoning on both pans is flawless—eggs slid right off on the first try, no sticking at all. I’ve already used the skillet for searing and the smaller one for cornbread, and cleanup took under two minutes with just hot water.

The handle on this set fits my hand so much better than the rough cast iron I wrestled with before. Cooked a full stir-fry dinner the first night, and the heat spread evenly across the surface without any hot spots. Really solid starter kit.

The skillet’s surface is so smooth right out of the box—no rough patches like my old one—and the weight feels perfectly balanced in my hand. I’ve used it every night since it arrived, and cleanup’s been a breeze with just a quick wipe.
