The leather’s got a couple of tiny scrapes near the edge, but they’re hidden once I’m gripping a hot tray, and the thickness feels seriously protective. For 30% off a pair that handles oven heat like a champ, this is a steal.
The nicks on the cuff are barely noticeable, and the leather feels broken-in right out of the package. These handled a hot cast iron skillet no problem, and for the factory-second price I honestly can't complain about the cosmetics.
The leather is thick and sturdy, just like my old pair, and it grips hot cast iron handles without slipping. Mine has a faint discoloration patch near the cuff, but for 30% off it’s a steal—heat protection is all I care about.
