The self-basting ridges on the lid really do their job—chicken came out juicier than in my old pan, and the knob staying cool enough to grab bare-handed mid-cook is a nice touch. I’ve used it daily for two weeks and the seasoning just keeps getting better.
Everything’s pure cast iron, even the knob, and it feels so solid in the hand—the whole set has that old-school weight you just don’t find anymore. The lid fits perfectly and the self-basting ridges keep the chicken juicy without me having to fuss over it.
