That lid fitting both the skillet and the Dutch oven is such a smart touch, saves me cabinet space and I use it every single day. The 4.5-quart oven is perfect for Sunday stews and the skillet sears a steak like a dream, both have that smooth, seasoned surface that just keeps getting better.
The self-basting lid is a game changer—it locks in moisture so well that my pot roast came out fork-tender in half the usual time. The 4.5-quart size handles everything from stews to bread, and the skillet pairs perfectly with it. Solid, heavy feel that just works.
The lid from the Dutch oven fits my skillet perfectly, which makes storage a non-issue and saves me a whole cabinet shelf. I’ve used the skillet for everything from eggs to searing steaks, and it’s already developing a great non-stick surface. The 4.5-quart size is exactly right for a family of four
