The self-basting lid really does its job—pork chops came out juicier than I’ve managed in any other pan. And the whole set being 100% cast iron, knob included, means nothing to worry about in the oven.
The lid fits so securely it feels like one solid piece when I’m searing, and the cast iron heats evenly across the whole surface. I’ve had it a month and the seasoning is already building up nicely, no sticky spots.
