Cooking for a crowd this weekend and the self-basting lid on the 7-quart made the pork shoulder come out ridiculously tender. The lid fitting the skillet too is a nice bonus that saves cabinet space.
The 7-quart capacity is perfect for feeding my whole family, and I love that the same self-basting lid snaps right onto the skillet for extra versatility. Cleanup was a breeze after a full campfire meal, and the whole set feels solid enough to last for years.
The lid locking onto both the skillet and the 7-quart Dutch oven is such a clever touch—I've used it for everything from searing to slow-cooking. The self-basting design keeps things moist without me having to fuss over it.
